2023 MotoGP Valencia Grand Prix Results: Bagnaia is World Champion

The 2023 MotoGP in Valencia concluded at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit on Sunday, November 26, 2023. This race was the final round of the season and determined the world champion from among Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin.

However, Martin failed to finish the Valencia race and did not score any points. He crashed out after colliding with Marc Marquez on lap six.

Therefore, Bagnaia officially became the 2023 MotoGP champion before the 27 laps were completed. The Ducati rider finished first with a time of 40 minutes 58.535 seconds.

With an additional 25 points, Bagnaia finished the season as world champion with a total of 467 points from 20 races. He finished 39 points ahead of Martin, who was the runner-up.

During MotoGP 2023, the rider known as Pecco won 11 races, comprising 9 race series wins and 2 sprint race wins.

Meanwhile, his rival, Jorge Martin, concluded MotoGP 2023 with 428 points. The Prima Pramac Racing rider recorded 4 wins in race series and 9 sprint race wins.

Below them was Mooney VR46 rider Marco Bezzecchi, who finished third with 329 points from three race series wins and one sprint race win.
