Indonesia's Animal Fat and Oil Exports to Tanzania Surge to US$195.36 Million

Indonesia recorded exports to Tanzania worth US$282.09 million as of December 2023. This figure represents a 1.71% increase compared to the previous year's exports, which totaled US$277.36 million.

Indonesia's trade record with Tanzania shows an upward trend in exports over the past 10 years. The lowest export value was US$154.45 million, while the highest reached US$361.94 million.

Of the 97 products (two-digit HS codes) exported to Tanzania, 35 products were worth more than one billion dollars. Furthermore, according to Trademap data, there are 50 main Indonesian products exported annually to this country. In other words, these products are the mainstay of Indonesian exports to Tanzania. The rest are mostly products also widely exported to other countries.

Exports of Man-made staple fibers to Tanzania are currently the largest. Indonesia exported US$10.29 million to this country. Other major export destinations for Man-made staple fibers include Vietnam, Afghanistan, Africa not specified elsewhere, Albania, and Algeria.

4. Articles of apparel and clothing accessories, not knitted or crocheted

Exports of Articles of apparel and clothing accessories, not knitted or crocheted to Tanzania are currently the largest. Indonesia exported US$9.4 million worth to this country. The value of these exports was US$9.38 million, lower than the previous period's US$9.9 million.
