Indonesia's Export Value Grew 6.7% (month-on-month) in February 2022

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that Indonesia's export value reached US$20.46 billion in February 2022. This figure grew by 6.73% compared to the previous month (month-to-month/m-to-m).

Compared to the same month of the previous year, national exports grew by 34.14% (year-on-year/YoY). In detail, the value of oil and gas exports reached US$994.8 million in February 2022. This figure grew by 10.39% compared to the previous month (m-to-m) and also grew by 15.6% (YoY).

This oil and gas export value includes crude oil exports of US$98.6 million, oil product exports of US$327.1 million, and gas exports of US$569.1 million.

Meanwhile, the value of non-oil and gas exports amounted to US$19.47 billion in February 2022. This figure grew by 6.55% (m-to-m) and grew by 35.24% (YoY).

Cumulatively for the January-February 2022 period, Indonesia's export value grew by 29.75% to US$39.64 billion compared to the same period of the previous year (cumulative-to-cumulative/c-to-c).

Meanwhile, oil and gas exports in the January-February 2022 period grew by 8.69% (c-to-c) to US$1.89 billion, and non-oil and gas exports grew by 31.02% (c-to-c) to US$37.74 billion.
