West Kalimantan Province recorded a total export volume of 359,770 tons in January 2025. For exports categorized under SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) code 24, wood and cork, exports from the province in January 2025 increased to 747,000 tons.
This increase in exports for SITC code 24 contrasts with the declining trend observed over the previous five months. According to Bank Indonesia (BI) records, exports from the province during the same period the previous year totaled 1.42 million tons.
West Kalimantan's customs import documents show 22 product groups exported from the province. These goods are categorized under 2-digit SITC codes. The product group with the highest export volume is SITC code 85, footwear and other footwear articles.
Over the past 16 months, the highest export volume from West Kalimantan was recorded in January 2024 at 1.48 million tons, while the lowest was in December 2024 at 716,030 tons.
