2023 MotoGP Thailand Classement: Jorge Martin Closes in on Bagnaia

Prima Pramac Racing rider Jorge Martin closed in on defending champion Francesco Bagnaia after winning the 2023 MotoGP at Buriram Circuit, Thailand, on Sunday (29/10/2023).

Starting from pole position, Martin immediately took the lead and finished first with a time of 39 minutes 40.045 seconds.

Meanwhile, the defending 2023 MotoGP champion, Bagnaia, had to work hard, starting the race from 6th position. Despite this, the rider known as Pecco finished second, just 0.253 seconds behind Martin.

Martin's victory in Thailand added 37 points to his tally, bringing his total to 376 points.

Martin currently sits second in the 2023 MotoGP standings, only 13 points behind Bagnaia, who leads with 389 points.

Martin's win in the Thailand GP not only reduced the points gap with Bagnaia but also reignited the battle for the 2023 MotoGP world championship title, with three races remaining.

Marco Bezzecchi is in third place in the 2023 MotoGP standings with 310 points.

The next 2023 MotoGP race will be held at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, from November 10-12.
