The next largest iron and steel imports came from South Korea, with a volume of 2.38 million tons valued at US$1.21 billion. This volume accounts for 18.28% of total imports.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's iron and steel imports from China amounted to 1.44 million tons with a value of US$2.74 billion. This volume accounts for 11.03% of total imports.

Previously, the volume of national iron and steel imports reached 16.15 million tons in 2019. This figure was the highest level in the last 5 years.
