Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesia received 927,750 foreign tourist visits (wisman) in January 2024.

Compared to January 2023, foreign tourist visits at the beginning of this year increased by 16.19% (year-on-year/yoy).

BPS also noted that in January 2024, most foreign tourists entered through I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, namely 414,930 foreign tourists or 44.73% of the total foreign tourist visits.

"The average length of stay for foreign tourists was 7.92 nights," said Habibullah.
