According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), 46,240 employees experienced layoffs (PHK) in Indonesia between January and August 2024, with the monthly trend as shown in the graph.

Cumulatively, national layoff victims increased by 24% compared to January-August 2023, which totaled 37,375 people.
