In less than a week, "One Piece" became Netflix's most popular global series in September 2023.

*One Piece* is a Netflix live-action series that premiered on August 31, 2023. Its first season, adapted from the manga by Eiichiro Oda, consists of 8 episodes.

According to Netflix data, within four days of its release, the live-action series had accumulated 140.1 million hours viewed. This made *One Piece* the most popular global television series on the platform between August 31 and September 3, 2023.

Similar to the original manga, *One Piece* follows the Straw Hat Pirates, led by Monkey D. Luffy. Along with his friends Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and others, they explore the seas in search of the legendary treasure, One Piece.

Netflix even collaborated with the original creator, Eiichiro Oda (also known as Oda Sensei), who served as an executive producer for the *One Piece* live-action adaptation.

Following in second place as the most popular global Netflix series at the beginning of the month was *Who is Erin Carter?*

Starring Evin Ahmad, Sean Teale, and Denise Gough, the series garnered 90.3 million hours viewed last week.

Meanwhile, the second season of *The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On* came in third, with 22.9 million hours viewed.
