The children's music video "Baby Shark Dance" on YouTube has surpassed Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" as the most-watched video on YouTube. According to digitaltrends.com, *Baby Shark Dance*, recorded by Pinkfong Kids’ Songs & Stories, has become the world's most popular video, garnering 8.86 billion views.

This South Korean children's music video is widely loved by children for its fun and simple nature. Meanwhile, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" has dropped to second place with 7.42 billion views. This music video, first launched in January 2017, achieved the record of exceeding one billion views in just 97 days.

Third place is occupied by LooLoo Kids' "Johny Johny Yes Papa." This children's video has garnered 5.5 billion views and depicts a baby's fondness for eating sugar. Similar to *Baby Shark Dance*, this video is also popular with children.

Research conducted by Hootsuite and We Are Social in early 2021 shows YouTube as the most popular social media platform in Indonesia, attracting 170 million users, or 93.8% of the total internet user population (aged 16-64) of 181.9 million.
