According to a survey by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII), Telkomsel was the most widely used mobile operator in Indonesia at the beginning of 2023.

Of the 8,510 people surveyed, 40.27% used the Telkomsel mobile operator (including Simpati, Kartu Halo, and byU).
