Ferrero Group ranks second with annual sales of US$13 billion. Some of its popular products include Nutella, Kinder Bueno, and Ferrero Rocher. Mondelez International follows with sales of US$12 billion.
The annual sales of the Japanese chocolate company, Meiji Co Ltd, were recorded at US$9.7 billion. The Hershey Company and Nestle SA each had annual sales of US$8.2 billion and US$7.9 billion, respectively.
Other chocolate companies with the largest annual sales worldwide include Lindt & Sprungli AG (US$4.6 billion), Pladis (US$4.5 billion), Glico Group (US$3.2 billion), and Orion Confectionery (US$1.8 billion).
