Of the 10,000 respondents surveyed, 72.5% used WhatsApp for more than 2 hours/day.
The breakdown is as follows: 15.9% used WhatsApp for more than 8 hours/day, 16.3% for 5-8 hours/day, and 40.3% for 2-5 hours/day.

The survey was conducted on 10,000 respondents spread across Indonesia in October 2021. Respondents were aged between 13-70 years and had accessed the internet within the last 3 months.
The survey method used was multistage random sampling with a home visit technique in the survey area. The margin of error of this survey is approximately 0.98% at a 95% confidence level.
