According to a report by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the volume of personal computer (PC) shipments in Asia Pacific reached 106.62 million units in 2025.

The volume grew by 11.6% compared to 2024 (year-on-year/yoy), with shipments reaching 95.51 million units. This performance was driven by the high demand for device updates to replace older devices.

In 2025, Lenovo became the largest PC supplier in Asia Pacific with shipments of 30.39 million units. This figure accounted for 28.5% of the total PC shipments in the region.

Other brands: 36 million units, up 6.9% (yoy).

IDC projects that in 2026, PC shipments in Asia Pacific will drop by 13.7% (yoy) to 92 million units. This is due to the continued shortage of components, rising prices, and weakening demand following the update cycle last year.
