According to a Capgemini Research Institute survey, global companies expect generative AI (Gen AI) technology to assist them in cybersecurity.

The most anticipated benefit is the ability to detect cyber threats faster.

The Capgemini Research Institute conducted this survey in May 2024, targeting 1,000 global companies with annual revenue of at least US$1 billion.

According to Joel Martin, Executive Research Leader at HFS Research, 2025 will see rapid advancements in health-tech, fintech, and manufacturing-tech. However, these advancements are accompanied by significant cybersecurity challenges.

"As bad actors exploit these tools and quantum computing emerges, we must modernize our cybersecurity measures to protect our digital infrastructure," said Joel Martin in the Top tech trends 2025 report released by the Capgemini Research Institute.
