JakPat survey results show that approximately 51% of 1,211 respondents reported enjoying Korean dramas (drakor) in April 2025.
Of this group, the majority or 47%, spent 1.5 to 3 hours watching drakor per session.
Another 26% watched for a shorter duration, less than 1.5 hours per session.
Furthermore, 19% of respondents spent 3-5 hours watching drakor, and 8% watched for more than 5 hours in a single session.
JakPat also found that 40% of respondents watched drakor between 9:01 PM and 12:00 AM.
"Usually after work, school, or other daily activities. It's become a popular way to relax and unwind at the end of the day," wrote JakPat in their report, Korean Drama Trends in Indonesia.
This Jakpat survey involved 1,211 respondents, narrowed down to 621 respondents who admitted to watching drakor. In total, the respondents consisted of 50% male and 50% female.
Respondents were located in non-Jabodetabek Java (46%), Jabodetabek (43%), and outside Java (11%). Respondents were from the millennial generation (29-44 years old) at 50% and Gen Z (15-28 years old) at 50%.
The survey was conducted online via the Jakpat application on April 28-29, 2025, with a margin of error below 5%.
