Indonesian household e-commerce spending rose again in 2024, after a decline in 2023.
This is evident from the March 2025 report, *Cashing in on the Digital Boom*, released by Mandiri Institute.
Quoting the report, the estimated value of e-commerce transactions in Indonesia throughout 2024 reached Rp487 trillion.
This represents 6.7% of the total national household spending in 2024, valued at Rp6,812 trillion.
This proportion increased compared to 2023, although it remains lower than in 2022, as shown in the graph.
