Various industrial sectors now require artificial intelligence (AI) and big data technologies to develop their businesses.

This is evident from the *The Future of Jobs Report 2025* released by the World Economic Forum (WEF).

The WEF surveyed approximately 1,000 global business leaders across 55 countries, including Indonesia.

These survey respondents came from 22 industrial sectors and cumulatively employ approximately 14 million employees.

Generally, 45% of respondents considered AI and big data as key strengths needed by their businesses.

When broken down by industrial sector, the highest demand for AI and big data came from the automotive and aerospace industries, as well as the telecommunications industry.

100% of respondents from these sectors assessed that their companies would increasingly require AI and big data during the 2025-2030 period.

Similar statements were made by many respondents from the professional services, information technology, insurance and pension management, and financial services and capital markets sectors.

Next are the supply chain and transportation management, health, energy and utilities, and government and public service sectors, as shown in the graph.
