Estonia came in second with a score of 0.9727. Singapore was third, scoring 0.9691.

Indonesia ranked 64th with a score of 0.7991. The Central African Republic had the lowest score at 0.0947. South Sudan scored 0.1191, and Somalia scored 0.1468.
The 2024 UN e-government survey is the 13th edition, involving 193 UN member states. The 2024 edition highlights a significant upward trend in global digital government development, with increased investment in infrastructure and cutting-edge technology.
The UN stated that the global average value of the E-Government Development Index (EGDI) shows a substantial increase, with the proportion of the population lagging in digital government development decreasing from 45% in 2022 to 22.4% in 2024.
However, the UN noted that despite significant progress in digital government development, the average EGDI for the African region, least developed countries, and small island developing states remains below the global average, highlighting the need for targeted efforts to bridge the existing gap.
