According to Data Reportal, in October 2024, internet users aged 16 and above globally spent an average of 188 minutes (3 hours and 8 minutes) per day watching television.
During this period, the United States had the longest average television viewing time, at 285 minutes (4 hours and 45 minutes) per day.
Indonesia ranked 43rd globally. The average Indonesian internet user spent 157 minutes (2 hours and 37 minutes) per day watching television.

Data Reportal also noted that globally, internet users aged 65 and above watched more television than younger age groups.
Women aged 65 and above watched an average of 236 minutes (4 hours 23 minutes) of television per day, while men over 65 spent 256 minutes (4 hours 16 minutes) per day watching television.
