Apple Unveils iPhone 16 Series, Here's the Price List

Apple launched its latest smartphone series, the iPhone 16, at the Apple Event on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

The smartphone comes in four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

"The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus mark the beginning of a new era for iPhone with Apple Intelligence, delivering a powerful and personalized experience for our users," said Kaiann Drance, Apple's VP of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

This latest Apple phone series offers significant design changes, particularly a vertical camera arrangement for the regular iPhone 16 series. The Pro series, however, retains the diagonal camera arrangement of its predecessors.

The entire iPhone series is powered by the latest A18 chip to support the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence system.

Several features have also been improved, including the addition of an action button, a camera control button, a larger display, and a longer-lasting battery.

The regular iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus series are available in six colors: Ultramarine, Teal, Pink, White, and Black.

The Pro Series comes in four color options: Desert Titanium, Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and White Titanium.

Despite these improvements in specifications and design, the price of the iPhone 16 remains the same as its predecessor upon initial release.

The cheapest iPhone 16 model starts at US$799, or approximately Rp12.34 million (assuming an exchange rate of Rp15,445 per US$).

Apple opened pre-orders for all iPhone 16 models starting September 13, 2024, with product availability on September 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, iBox, an Apple product reseller in Indonesia, has yet to confirm when the latest iPhone series will be available in the country.
