Market research firm Canalys released a list of smartphones with the highest shipment volumes throughout 2023.

The data was compiled using the sell-in method, which counts the number of smartphones shipped from vendors to distributors or official stores in the market.

Of the 10 smartphone models with the highest circulation in 2023, seven were from Apple (iPhones), with the remainder from Samsung.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max topped smartphone shipments during this period, with a total of 34 million units shipped.

Meanwhile, Samsung smartphones occupied the sixth position globally. The leading Android-based smartphone was the Galaxy A14 4G, with shipments of 21 million units.
