Coldplay's Singapore concert promoter, Live Nation Singapore, has announced the addition of a sixth concert date in Singapore.
"Due to overwhelming demand for the Coldplay Music of The Spheres World Tour in Singapore, a sixth and final show has been added," Live Nation wrote on its Instagram account on Tuesday (20/6/2023).
The Coldplay concerts in Singapore will run from January 23-31, 2024, a stark contrast to their single-day concert in Indonesia on November 15, 2023.
The *Music of the Spheres* world tour in Singapore is not the longest Coldplay concert duration in history.
The longest Coldplay concert was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, lasting 10 days.
These concerts took place over two months: October 25, 26, 28, and 29, 2022, and November 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8, 2022.
The concerts in the Argentinian capital were held at River Plate Stadium, also home to the Argentinian national football team.
Coldplay's London, England concerts followed, lasting six days from August 12-21, 2022, at Wembley Stadium.
Based on data from Coldplay's official Instagram account, Coldplay typically tours a country for 2-4 days on average.
The *Music of the Spheres World Tour* began on March 18, 2022, in Costa Rica, Central America.
After touring South America in early 2022, Chris Martin and his bandmates will perform in the United States, then Jakarta at the end of 2022, before continuing their tour in Southeast Asia in early 2024.
