According to the *Digital Society Index* from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), DKI Jakarta was the province with the best national infrastructure and digital ecosystem in 2022.

The Kominfo Ministry measured the strength of the digital society in 34 provinces and 514 regencies/cities through a survey method and secondary data collection.

Papua was the province with the lowest infrastructure and digital ecosystem score in 2022.
