Indonesia Ranks 40th in the World for Programmers

China has become the country with the best programmers in the world. According to a release from HackerRank, the "Bamboo Curtain" nation achieved a perfect score of 100. The high number of hacker attacks originating from China is also considered a contributing factor.

This ranking of the world's best programmers was released by HackerRank. The research firm ranked 50 countries based on the average programmer test scores across all domains. The United States, a global technology leader, only placed 28th, with an index score of 78. This is despite being home to Silicon Valley, the world's center for technology companies.

Indonesia ranked 40th. Indonesia's programmer ranking lags behind Singapore and Vietnam, which were ranked 13th and 23rd respectively. However, Indonesia still performed better than the Philippines and Malaysia, which were ranked 46th and 47th.
