The number of borrowers in the P2P lending Fintech sector has reached 2.8 million accounts.

The value of loans from Fintech Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Lending reached Rp 15.99 trillion by the end of October 2018. Based on data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the number of P2P Lending borrowers reached 2.8 million accounts, while the number of lenders reached 183,000 accounts.

The accumulated number of P2P Lending loan transactions reached 5.6 million accounts, comprising 4 million accounts in Java, 403,000 accounts outside Java, and 1.18 million accounts from overseas. Meanwhile, borrower transactions reached 8.99 million accounts, consisting of 7.7 million accounts in Java and 1.29 million accounts outside Java.

Based on loan quality, 96.73% of P2P Lending loan funds were categorized as performing (up to 30 days), 2.07% as non-performing (30-90 days), and 1.2% as non-performing (over 90 days).
