Xiaomi was the second-fastest-growing smartphone brand, with a 3.5% YoY growth. Shipments of this Chinese smartphone brand increased from 5 million units to 5.1 million units in 2023.

Meanwhile, smartphone shipments from Samsung, Vivo, and Oppo contracted in 2023, as shown in the graph above.

Despite negative growth, Samsung remained the smartphone brand with the highest shipment volume in Indonesia in 2023, at 6.9 million units.
