Indonesia Remains in Top 3 of SEA Games Provisional Medal Standings, Cambodia Close to Overtaking

Indonesia maintained its position in the top three of the provisional SEA Games 2023 medal tally as of Tuesday morning (May 16, 2023). However, its position was almost overtaken by Cambodia, which ranked one place below.

On Monday (May 15, 2023), Indonesia collected 6 gold, 6 silver, and 13 bronze medals. Additional medals were won in kickboxing, sepak takraw, taekwondo, weightlifting, and wrestling.

With these additions, the Indonesian contingent now has a total of 235 medals: 74 gold, 67 silver, and 94 bronze.

Cambodia followed Indonesia with a total of 253 medals, comprising 71 gold, 68 silver, and 114 bronze medals.

Meanwhile, Vietnam remained at the top of the SEA Games 2023 medal tally with 321 medals: 123 gold, 99 silver, and 99 bronze. Thailand followed in second place with a total of 264 medals: 93 gold, 76 silver, and 95 bronze.
