Enea Bastianini won the 2022 United States MotoGP race held at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in the United States on Sunday (April 10, 2022) local time. This victory earned the Gresini Racing MotoGP (Ducati) rider a full 25 points with a time of 41 minutes 23.111 seconds.
As a result, the Italian rider, number 23, reclaimed the top spot in the standings with 61 points going into the 4th round of the 2022 MotoGP season. This result comes from two podium finishes, winning first place in the Qatar MotoGP (round 1) and the United States MotoGP (round 4).
Alex Rins of Team Suzuki Ecstar (Suzuki) finished second, earning 20 points with a time 2.058 seconds slower than Bastianini.
Jack Miller of Ducati Lenovo Team came in third, earning 16 points, 2.312 seconds behind the winner.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez of Repsol Honda Team, a regular winner at the US MotoGP, finished 6th and earned 10 points. As is known, the number 93 rider had an accident during the second round of the 2022 MotoGP in Mandalika.
