Latest English Premier League Table: Manchester City Overtakes Arsenal

Manchester City ousted Arsenal from the top of the English Premier League table after winning their match against Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage Stadium on Sunday (30/4/2023). This victory earned The Citizens three additional points in the 34th week of this season's Premier League.

Erling Haaland, the team's prolific goalscorer, put Man City ahead in the 3rd minute. Fulham responded with a goal from Carlos Vinicius in the 15th minute.

However, Julian Alvarez put The Citizens back in the lead with his goal in the 36th minute. No further goals were scored until the end of the match.

The victory over Fulham propelled Man City to the top of the Premier League table with 76 points from 32 matches. Meanwhile, Arsenal, with 75 points from 33 matches, dropped to second place.

Although the competition is heating up, Man City's chances of winning the Premier League title are increasing, as they have one more game than The Gunners.

Manchester United, City's cross-town rivals, also secured a victory. The Red Devils earned three points after defeating Aston Villa 1-0 at Old Trafford Stadium on Sunday (30/4/2023).

Man Utd is in fourth place with 63 points from 32 matches. Aston Villa is in seventh place with 54 points from 34 matches.
