A Populi Center survey shows that the presidential candidate pair (presidential and vice-presidential candidates) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka has the highest electability in a 2024 Presidential Election simulation. They received 43.1% of the total respondents.

Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD came in second with 23% of the vote, while Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (alias Cak Imin) were third with 22.3%.

10% of respondents remained undecided, while 1.6% refused to answer the survey question.

Populi Center researcher Hartanto Rosojati noted a significant gap between the top and second-place candidate pairs. He suggested the survey results could inform candidates on how to maintain or improve their electability.

“This is certainly homework for each candidate on how to maintain or increase their vote share or catch up to the electability of other pairs,” said Hartanto in an online press conference on Populi Center's YouTube channel on Thursday (November 9, 2023).

The survey was conducted from October 29 to November 5, 2023, involving 1,200 respondents representing the demographics of all provinces in Indonesia. The survey was conducted face-to-face using the Populi Center application.

Sample selection used multistage random sampling, with a margin of error of approximately 2.83% and a 95% confidence level.
