Seven Parties Predicted to Miss Out on Parliament

Quick count results from four survey institutions indicate that seven political parties risk failing to enter parliament due to their vote share falling below the 4% parliamentary threshold.

New parties that did not meet the threshold and competed in the 2019 Legislative Election (Pileg) are Partai Garuda, Berkarya, Perindo, and PSI. In addition, three established parties, Hanura, PBB, and PKPI, also failed to meet the threshold.

Based on Indikator's quick count, Partai Garuda obtained only 0.50% of the vote, Berkarya 2.06%, Perindo 2.66%, PSI 1.99%, Hanura 1.63%, PBB 0.93%, and PKPI 0.25%. Indo Barometer's quick count, with 91.58% of the votes counted, showed the lowest vote share for PKPI at 0.27%.

Meanwhile, KedaiKOPI's survey showed Partai Garuda receiving 0.49% of the vote, Berkarya 2.16%, Perindo 2.7%, PSI 1.9%, Hanura 1.35%, PBB 0.79%, and PKPI 0.23%. Similarly, LSI Denny JA's quick count, with 99.2% of the votes counted, showed the following parties failing to meet the threshold: Partai Garuda 0.99%, Berkarya 2.41%, Perindo 2.95%, PSI 2.35%, Hanura 1.9%, PBB 0.92%, and PKPI 0.39%.
