Price of Super II Quality Rice in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) dashboard at 16:44 WIB, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in East Java province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price development in the last week.

Meanwhile, compared to the last month, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp14.9 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in East Java in the last three months has decreased by 1.33%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in East Java province is traded at Rp15 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2020 with an increase of 26.24%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2020 with a decrease of -20.79%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in East Java recorded 12 commodities decreasing and 18 others increasing. The sembako with decreasing prices are Chicken Eggs, Medium-sized Red Onions, Garlic, Red Onions, Medium-sized Garlic, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Local Granulated Sugar, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, Granulated Sugar and Large Red Chili.

5. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp73.8 thousand per kg (up 4.46%)
6. Garlic per Kg Rp51.2 thousand per kg (down 3.31%)
7. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp45.35 thousand per kg (up 0.78%)
8. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg Rp20.1 thousand per kg (up 0.25%)
9. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg Rp20.45 thousand per kg (up 1.24%)
