Public Satisfaction with Jokowi's Performance Grows

The results of a survey by Indikator Politik Indonesia show that satisfaction with President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) performance is soaring. 72% of respondents expressed satisfaction with Jokowi's performance in November 2021.

The details show that 61.4% were fairly satisfied and 10.6% were very satisfied. Meanwhile, only 27.3% were dissatisfied, with 24.5% somewhat dissatisfied and 2.8% completely dissatisfied.

Satisfaction with Jokowi's performance in November 2021 increased by 9 points compared to the September 2021 survey, which recorded 63%. Thus, satisfaction with Jokowi's performance has increased for two consecutive months.

By ethnicity, the highest satisfaction came from the Javanese at 41.2%. Conversely, the lowest satisfaction came from the Malay ethnicity at 2.2%.

The survey involved 2,020 respondents from 34 provinces in Indonesia. Respondents selected were at least 17 years old or married. The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews, using a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of 2.9% and a 95% confidence level.
