Poltracking Indonesia conducted a survey on respondents' knowledge regarding the parliamentary threshold or the requirement for political parties to qualify for the House of Representatives (DPR RI).

In the 2024 General Election, the minimum threshold was set at 4% of the total valid votes nationwide.

According to the Poltracking Indonesia survey, only about 17.7% of respondents were aware of the parliamentary threshold.

Meanwhile, about 64.7% of respondents admitted not knowing about the 4% minimum threshold, while 17.6% of respondents did not answer.

Among the respondents who were aware of it, about 49% of respondents believed that the threshold should remain at 4% as a requirement for political parties to qualify for the DPR RI.

The survey was conducted on 1,220 Indonesian citizens who already have the right to vote (aged 17 or older/married). Sigi used the multistage random sampling method.

Face-to-face interviews with selected respondents took place from August 14-20, 2026. The survey's margin of error is +/- 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.
