Appointed as Finance Minister, This is the Wealth of Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa

President Prabowo Subianto appointed Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa as the new Minister of Finance, replacing Sri Mulyani, at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday, September 8, 2025.

State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi stated that the cabinet reshuffle decision was a follow-up to a personnel evaluation that had been ongoing for almost a year.

"This afternoon, the President decided to make changes to the composition of the Red and White Cabinet in several ministerial positions," Prasetyo said in his statement, as reported by Katadata, Monday (September 8, 2025).

Purbaya previously served as the Chairman of the Deposit Insurance Institution (LPS) since 2020. His reported wealth totaled Rp39.12 billion (approximately USD 2.6 million) at the end of 2024, according to the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN).

The majority of his assets consist of land and buildings valued at Rp30.5 billion, comprising two properties located in South Jakarta.

The new Minister of Finance also reportedly possesses cash and cash equivalents worth Rp4.2 billion; transportation assets worth Rp3.6 billion; securities worth Rp220 million; and other movable assets worth Rp684 million.

Purbaya's transportation assets include four cars and two motorcycles. The cars are a Mercedes-Benz (2008), a BMW Jeep (2019), a Toyota Alphard (2019), and a Peugeot 5008 Jeep (2019). The motorcycles are a Yamaha NMAX (2018) and a Honda Vario 125 (2021).
