How Satisfied is the Public with the Prabowo-Gibran Program After 100 Days?

A Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas) poll recorded public satisfaction levels with 13 government programs under Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka's first 100 days in office.

The provision of free healthcare services received the highest satisfaction rating, reaching 85%.

"Although not a new policy initiated by the current administration, the provision of free healthcare services received the highest appreciation in the first 100 days of the Prabowo-Gibran administration," wrote a Kompas Litbang researcher in their report on Monday (20/1/2025).

Next, the renovation of damaged schools had a satisfaction rate of 82.1%. This was followed by building quality, comprehensive hospitals in each regency and building integrated, excellent schools in each regency, with satisfaction levels of 81% each.

"The high public satisfaction in the health and education sectors in the first 100 days of the new administration reflects the continued attention given to these two areas," wrote the Kompas Litbang researcher.

Meanwhile, one priority program promoted during the campaign, namely free nutritious meals and milk (MBG) in schools, had a satisfaction rate of only 66.8%. Out of the 13 programs, MBG ranked 11th.

Kompas Litbang assessed that the low satisfaction level was because the public still demanded proof that the government could implement this program throughout the country with a clear and transparent structure.

This Kompas Litbang survey involved 1,000 respondents randomly selected using a stratified systematic sampling method across 38 provinces.

Data collection was conducted from January 4-10, 2025, through telephone interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 3.1% with a 95% confidence level, under conditions of simple random sampling.
