According to a survey by Indikator Politik Indonesia, a majority of Indonesians believe that Prabowo-Gibran will win the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres 2024) in a single round.

In the survey, respondents were asked, "With provisional vote counts exceeding 55% according to official KPU calculations, do you believe or disbelieve that the 2024 Presidential Election will conclude in a single round with a victory for the Prabowo-Gibran pairing?"

The results show that a majority, or 71.8% of respondents, believe this will happen. 20.4% disagreed, and 7.8% were unsure or did not answer.

According to Rizka Halida, Senior Researcher at Indikator Politik, respondents who believe this outcome stems largely from those satisfied with President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) performance.

84.5% of respondents from this group believe Prabowo-Gibran will win in a single round, while 10.7% do not.

Conversely, among respondents less satisfied with Jokowi's performance, a majority (58.6%) do not believe Prabowo-Gibran can win in a single round, while 28.9% believe they can.

Looking at voter bases, 92.9% of Prabowo-Gibran supporters believe their choice will win in a single round, and 3.7% do not.

Meanwhile, 52.2% of Anies-Muhaimin supporters do not believe this, while 30% do.

Furthermore, 49.7% of Ganjar-Mahfud supporters do not believe, and 41.6% believe, that Prabowo-Gibran will win the 2024 Presidential Election in a single round.

The Indikator survey was conducted from February 18-21, 2024, involving 1,227 respondents aged 17 and above who own a telephone, assumed to represent 83% of the total national population.

Sampling used random digit dialing (RDD). Selected respondents were interviewed via telephone.

The survey's margin of error is approximately 2.9% at a 95% confidence level, assuming simple random sampling.
