Christopher Nolan's film is included in major categories such as *Best Picture*, *Best Director*, *Best Adapted Screenplay*, and *Best Actor*, the latter performed by Cillian Murphy.
*Oppenheimer* is a biographical film about J. Robert Oppenheimer (played by Cillian Murphy), a nuclear scientist who invented the atomic bomb, a creation that claimed many lives during World War II.
In second place is *Poor Things*, which received 11 nominations, including *Best Picture*, *Best Director*, *Best Actress*, *Best Cinematography*, and others.
