List of Indonesian Twitter Accounts with the Most Followers

Elon Musk officially became the owner of Twitter last week (October 27th). After taking over the social media platform, he has now increased the subscription fee for the blue checkmark, or verified accounts.

Elon Musk has been reviewing the monetization scheme for verified accounts since buying Twitter last week (October 27th). The world's richest man has decided to charge US$8, or approximately Rp 125,000, per month.

“Power to the people! (subscription fee) Twitter Blue US$ 8 per month,” Elon Musk tweeted on Tuesday (November 2nd). The price will be adjusted in each country to compensate for purchasing power.

The blue checkmark next to a username on Twitter confirms that the account belongs to the person or company claiming it. Currently, the blue checkmark service is free for most users.

However, Elon Musk has decided to monetize the service. "Twitter will revise the user verification process," the Twitter CEO said on Sunday (October 30th).

In Indonesia, Detikcom has the most followers among blue checkmark accounts, reaching 19.2 million. This is followed by President Joko Widodo's Twitter account with 18.8 million followers, Agnezmo with 17.8 million followers, and Fiersa Besari with 14.7 million followers.
