Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is a documentary film showcasing a series of Taylor Swift's concerts at SoFi Stadium, California, in August 2023. The film premiered in New York cinemas on October 13, 2023.
Directed by Sam Wrench, the film features 40 songs from Taylor Swift's concert, with a runtime of 2 hours and 48 minutes. Its release has been highly anticipated by Swifties, Taylor Swift's fans who were unable to attend her concerts in person.
According to The Numbers, the concert film grossed US$97 million in just four days of its release.
This makes Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour the second highest-grossing concert documentary of 2023. The singer of "All Too Well" nearly matched the earnings of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (2011), which grossed US$99.03 million.
Given that the Taylor Swift documentary is still showing in numerous box offices worldwide, it's possible it will surpass Justin Bieber's record. The documentary will be released in Indonesia starting November 3, 2023.
In third place is Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. Released in 2008, this concert film is estimated to have grossed US$70.71 million.
