The Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) Indonesia recorded 89 cases of violence against journalists and media outlets throughout 2025.

Based on categories, there were three most common forms of violence: physical violence (30 cases), digital attacks (29 cases), and terror and intimidation (22 cases).
