Indonesia's Most Read Online Media in Early 2025

The Reuters Institute's Digital News Report 2025 again compiled the most accessed online news media by Indonesian citizens at the beginning of 2025.

Detik.com was the most accessed media in weekly usage, chosen by 46% of respondents. In three-day-a-week usage, this online media was also the most dominant with a selection rate of 28%.

Second was Kompas online or Kompas.com with a proportion of 37% in weekly usage. Meanwhile, in three-day-a-week usage, the proportion reached 21%.

Next, TvOne News Online and Tribunnews online had the same proportion, namely 26% in weekly usage. However, in three-day usage, TvOne's proportion was higher, at 16%, while Tribunnews was 13%.

Following these were CNN Indonesia online, Metro TV News online, Liputan 6, Tempo.co, and Kumparan.com in the top 10.

The Digital News Report 2025 survey specifically for Indonesia targeted 2,028 respondents conducted online in January-February 2025. A total of 97,055 were surveyed from several countries this year.
