Data from YouTube indicates that Indonesia leads Southeast Asia in the number of YouTube subscribers.
According to Katadata, YouTube states that there are 7,600 YouTubers in Southeast Asia with over one million subscribers. Indonesia accounts for 3,000 YouTube accounts, or 40% of the total in the ASEAN group. This is followed by Vietnam with 2,500, Thailand with 1,300, the Philippines with 450, Malaysia with 190, and Singapore with 170.
In line with this, data from Nox Influencer shows that Jess No Limit is at the top in Indonesia with 54.2 million subscribers as of June 7, 2025. This is followed by Ricis Official with 48.7 million and Frost Diamond with 43.6 million.
Deddy Corbuzier, a former magician who is now a special staff member of the Ministry of Defense, closes the top 10 list with a total of 24.4 million subscribers.
The following is a list of YouTubers with the most subscribers in Indonesia as of June 7, 2025:
1. Jess No Limit: 54.2 million
2. Ricis Official: 48.7 million
3. Frost Diamond: 43.6 million
4. Willie Salim: 37.3 million
5. Indosiar: 33.5 million
6. Atta Halilintar: 31.4 million
7. Trans7 Official: 27.2 million
8. Rans Entertainment: 26.5 million
9. Babybus.id: 26.3 million
10. Deddy Corbuzier: 24.4 million
YouTube also reports that there are 77,000 YouTube channels with more than 100,000 subscribers. Of this number, Indonesia and Vietnam each contribute 30,000.
“These impressive and growing numbers show how wide-reaching YouTube is, and the size of the active audience that brands can access through partnerships with creators,” said VP, Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier, Google Sapna Chadha in a press release on Monday (June 9).
YouTube reached 290 million viewers last year, equivalent to 85% of the online population in Southeast Asia. The amount of content uploaded by YouTubers in Indonesia and Vietnam increased by 85% year-on-year (YoY).
