The most prevalent was digital wallets or e-wallets, owned by 93% of respondents across all generations.

Lastly, e-aggregators, or platforms that combine various financial services or products into one system, accounted for 2%.

This Jakpat survey involved 2,133 respondents, consisting of 53% male and 47% female.

Respondents were located in non-Jabodetabek Java (49%), Jabodetabek (33%), and outside Java (18%). Respondents were dominated by Millennials at 42%, Gen Z at 36%, and Gen X at 22%.

The survey was conducted online through the Jakpat application from November 28 to December 5, 2024, with a margin of error below 5%.
