Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the Highest-Paid Actor in the World in 2020

Dwayne Johnson was listed as the world's highest-paid actor in 2020. According to statista.com, the former WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestler earned US$87.5 million, or approximately Rp 1.28 trillion.

The biggest income for the actor known as "The Rock" came from Netflix after playing the role of an international criminal police agent in the film Red Notice. For this role, he was paid US$23.5 million, or approximately Rp 345 billion.

Following in second place is actor Ryan Reynolds with earnings of US$71.5 million, or approximately Rp 1.05 trillion for the 2020 period. Ryan Reynolds also starred in Red Notice alongside Dwayne Johnson. He received US$20 million, or Rp 288 billion, from the film.

Actor Mark Wahlberg ranked third with US$58 million, or approximately Rp 850 billion. Besides being an actor, he is also a producer and singer.

Akshay Kumar is the only Bollywood actor in the top 10, ranking sixth with earnings of US$48.5 million, or approximately Rp 698.4 billion. Most of his income comes from product endorsements.
