Rupiah Exchange Rate Holds Steady at 15,587.5 per US Dollar (Thursday, January 5, 2023)

As of 1:11 PM WIB today, January 5, 2023, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market is traded at 15,587.5 per US dollar. This exchange rate only moved -0.05% compared to the closing on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, which was traded at 15,595 per US dollar. The daily exchange rate movement is expected to be in the range of 15,585 - 15,633.

According to investing.com, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has increased by 0.72% in a week. Compared to 30 days ago, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has been pressured down by 0.18%.

However, for the one-year data range, the rupiah exchange rate in the spot market has actually decreased (strengthened). The previous highest record reached 15,740 per US dollar.

Following this, the Japanese yen strengthened by 0.61 points (-0.46%), the Singapore dollar strengthened by 0.0005 points (-0.03%), the euro strengthened by 0.0055 points (-0.58%), and the Chinese yuan strengthened by 0.0348 points (-0.50%).
