Indihome Revenue Grew 24.2% in the First Half of 2021

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) earned Rp 12.88 trillion from its Indihome internet service in the first half of 2021. This figure represents a 24.2% increase compared to the same period last year, which was Rp 10.37 trillion.

Indihome's fixed broadband and pay television services contributed 18.5% to Telkom's revenue in the first half of 2021, up from 15.5% in the first half of 2020.

The increase in Indihome's revenue was driven by subscriber growth and an improvement in average revenue per user (ARPU). From January to June 2021, Indihome added 285,000 subscribers, an 11.4% increase, reaching a total of 8.3 million subscribers spread across 496 regencies/cities.

With the addition of new subscribers and increased service usage from existing subscribers, Indihome's ARPU was recorded at Rp 270 in the second quarter of 2021. This is a 1.5% increase compared to Rp 266 in the previous quarter.

Telkom's total revenue for the first half of the year was recorded at Rp 69.48 trillion, a 3.9% increase compared to Rp 66.86 trillion in the same period last year.

Telkom's net profit for the first six months of 2021 was Rp 12.45 trillion, a 13.3% increase compared to Rp 10.99 trillion in the same period last year.
