Sari Roti Producer Posts Rp 209 Billion Profit up to Q3 2021

PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk achieved a profit of Rp 209.74 billion until Q3 2021. This achievement grew by 64.9% compared to the previous year's Rp 127.19 billion (year on year/yoy).

Despite this growth, the profit of the Sari Roti producer is still below its pre-pandemic Covid-19 achievement. During the January-September 2019 period, the bread producer's issuer managed to achieve a profit of Rp 211.71 billion.

The profit growth of the issuer with the code ROTI was supported by a decrease in operating expenses of 13.61% during the January-September 2021 period (yoy). Meanwhile, sales of the Sari Roti producer decreased slightly by 0.22% (yoy) to Rp 2.43 trillion until Q3 this year.

ROTI's assets during the January-September 2021 period decreased by 4.35% to Rp 4.26 trillion from the end of 2020 position (year to date/ytd). This asset reduction is in line with the decrease in equity of 8.53% (ytd) to Rp 2.95 trillion at the end of Q3 2021. Meanwhile, the liabilities of the bread producer increased by 6.68% (ytd) to Rp 1.31 trillion at the end of September 2021.

The improvement in the financial performance of the Sari Roti producer was also followed by the performance of its shares on the exchange. The share price of the issuer with the code ROTI closed at Rp 1,345 per unit on Thursday, October 28, 2021. This price increased by 6.29% compared to the end of December last year (ytd).
