According to a report by the World Gold Council, total global gold demand in 2025 reached 5,002.3 tons, growing by 1% year-on-year (yoy).

This demand comes from the jewelry-making sector, technology, investment, central banks and other institutions, as well as over-the-counter (OTC) transactions and other sources.
